About Rob
The 1-2-3-4 (and more!) on me…
1. I grew up in Mt. Juliet, TN with several people and a few more cats. I went to school at Austin Peay State University. There I studied math and threw discs. Specifically Ultimate discs. Now I live in Charlotte, NC and teach math and throw discs. The Ultimate and Disc Golf variety. When I can I find my way to the mountains and walk around.
2. I really enjoy listening to music. People that find their way often into my cd player are Darrell Scott, Pierce Pettis, Mando Saenz, Buddy Miller, Rosie Thomas, Hem, Ellery, Josh Ritter, Dan Zanes, Roman Candle, Over the Rhine, Warren Zanes, The Muckrakers, Jon Foreman, Speech, Josh Rouse, The Choir, and Keane, just to name a few. And by a few I mean eighteen.
3. When I’m not listening to music I can often be found reading. Currently I’m reading Reasons to Believe by John Marks and Schulz by David Michaelis. Other authors I enjoy reading are Ron Rash, Frederick Buechner, C.S. Lewis, Donald Miller, and Dallas Willard.
4. I enjoy thinking about things before I speak of them and then thinking more and changing my position. I find it’s better to keep people guessing.
5. Drinking tea on a mountain is a fine time. Maybe the finest.
6. I used to be down on television but I’ve come to thoroughly enjoy it. An hour of Battlestar Galactica is never wasted.
7. Other places to find me online…
